You Say It’s My Blogaversary: The Divine Mz M is 1 Year Old!

How time flies…!

One year ago, I was dealing with some severe back pain issues which limited the amount of activity I was comfortable doing.  Creating The Divine Mz M (formerly Curves Rule!) became a way for me to feel like I was still contributing something worthy. I had never blogged before, and I was worried that no one would bother reading anything I had to share.

Flash forward one year, I got my back surgery, the pain is greatly reduced, and The Divine Mz M has over 1,000 followers!

I have followers from all walks of life!

So…switching gears, I directed a play which was entered in the 2014 Army EUCOM One Act Play Festival, and we took home NINE awards, including this lovely trophy for 2nd Place Best Director! I was incredibly stressed out getting this show ready for competition, and we had a lot of problems popping up that threatened to shut the production down, but we all hung in there and performed our hearts out!

I am so proud, and relieved:)

Cross Fingers and Break a Leg!

Guten Morgen! Wie geht’s?

It’s another balmy German morning, and it’s an early day for me. A play I’ve directed, a one act called Interview,” is going to compete this weekend at the 2014 US Army Europe Festival of One Act Plays! Tonight is our last rehearsal for final “tweaking”  before performing on Saturday, and then Sunday we’ll see if we win some awards!

It’s been a very busy few weeks, to say the least. We opened our play last weekend, I taught a Musical Theatre workshop Tuesday night, I have my usual vocal teaching schedule, I’m ushering tomorrow for the Festival (plus loading in our set), plus all the festival events this weekend…whew! No rest for the wicked, as they say!

I’ve been so busy, that I forgot about these pics the Hubby took of me during our trip to Luxembourg a month back! It still blows my mind that it only took an hour and a half to drive to another country! Luxembourg is definitely tiny, but a very pretty area. The people speak French, German, and English, so communication was very easy. I definitely enjoyed seeing shops by Marina Rinaldi, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, and Versace!

Modcloth is Marvelous! Plus, October’s Giveaway!

Modcloth 2

Happy October! It may be fall, but it has been unseasonably warm here in Germany! Lucky for me, I am still able to wear some new summer styles, and I am LOVING this romper from Modcloth!

Modcloth’s vintage inspired looks have a timeless feel, and this romper is no exception. I’m pretty sure I’ll wear this for a long time, and once Fall does decide to come, I’ll add tights, boots, and a long cardigan!

Here, I added a pair of vintage Italian heels from the 1960s. These belonged to my mom!

A Milestone: My First Sponsor!

Happy Sunday, All! You know the saying, “timing is everything”? Well, just as I was thinking about getting a third tattoo for my upcoming birthday, Meg from TT Tattoo (The Temporary Tattoo Store) reached out to me about joining their Blogger Affiliate Program!

My first sponsor! Yay!!

Not only do I love a great tattoo, but I love the idea of custom designing your own tat that’s temporary! That way, you can test drive it before committing the time, pain, and money for a permanent one!

TT Tattoo has ready made designs as well that are sized for your ankle, finger, hand, neck, arm, leg…just about anywhere!

I’m a singer, and would rock this one:

And this one too, because I’m a crazy cat lady!
